“He will light the lamps of the menorah, and it will cast light towards its face”

The instructions for building the Menorah were so complex, the Midrash says, that even Moshe Rabbeinu had trouble remembering them. Luckily, the artist, Betzalel, had the exemplary memory to help carry the directions out properly. Like them, our community is brightened by each member’s gifts and talents, and we rely on each other to bring light to the greater whole.
