According to the Talmud, Hashem dedicates an hour a day to laughter and joy. Our children dedicate themselves with equal seriousness to the task, and it’s our role to provide them with the perfect setting for it. A playground is where children develop necessary physical and social skills and learn how to interact peacefully with others – a mitzvah we continue to work on throughout our lives.
