“And these words that I command you today shall be upon your hearts”

On the klaf inside the mezuzah are written “the things that I commanded you today,” – the 613 mitzvot. As we enter the sanctuary, a beautiful mezuzah will lead us with those holy words to the Torah itself, from which we read of the mitzvot every week.
